Why You Should See The Live Hilarious Blue Collar Comedy Tour Experience

by Anderson Slempski

Mix together four friends, one road, and a whole heap of alcohol and the end product would be the Blue Collar Comedy Tour thrill ride. Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy, and Ron White all join forces along with Jeff Forxworthy to take the nation on a trip unlike any other. To get a better grasp on what the blue collar boys are, one would have to go see the show, however the best small description would be four southern guys just being guys.

William Ray “Bill” Engvall Jr. Is the more family based comedian compared to his three companions. Many of his jokes come from his home life where he commonly makes references to his lovely wife, who will always be there to point out his mistakes, and adorable kids, who will never cease to embarrass him. He is most notable for his comedy routine and catchphrase “Here’s your sign” in which he points out stupid people who make the most redundant of inquiries.

The youngest in the troupe, but certainly not the least experienced, is Daniel Lawrence Whitney, or Larry the Cable Guy as his fans know and call him. Larry is known for his redneck and trailer park humor, and is punctuated by his catchphrase “Git-R-Done”. This remarkable comedian also appears on the silver screen not only as a voice actor in popular kid movies, but stars in several films as well.

Ron White, whose name is neither a nickname or stage name, but his true name, is a Texas born comedian with a famous and hilariously cheesy grin. He always has a cigar in one hand and a glass of beer in the other as he reminisces about his times with the high society folk. He has set himself apart from the rest when he did not join the Blue Collar television show.

Jeffery Marvin Foxworthy is the leader of this particular pack of sensational stage performers. His jokes have the most redneck influence and as such his signature jokes are in his “you might be a redneck” routine. This comedian has been very successful in the televised entertainment industry to the point of being the host of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?”.

All four of these well known standup comedians have guest stared, and hosted, several shows on many networks. These great entertainers have more than just comedy gigs and TV shows on their resume, they have also been in movies on the silver screen. Comedy joints, TV, radio, and movies, these guys have done it all they have also broken into the book industry with their biographies.

Bill Engvall continued the blue collar legacy by leading four new and fresh comedians to form the Next Generation group. Reno Collier, Juston McKinney, Jamie Kaler and John Caparulo are the successors to the original gang and do not disappoint. They all bring new and exciting material to the stage to give fans new and old something to enjoy.

Four friends traveling the country doing what they love best, by making the entire nation laugh to no end. The Blue Collar Comedy Tour has been a wonderful experience for everyone who has had the pleasure of hearing their tall tales. These four may not be touring with each other currently, but the jokes they have told shall be remembered on video for generations to come.
