Make video clips of your performances. You need to be able to get back and look at how it turned out. There may be some things that you did not like and may need to have adjustments.

Be nice to your audience. You need them to be receptive to you and laugh with your material. There is no need to be insulting. Simply because several other comedians do it, doesn’t mean you need to be the status quo.
