‘The Tourist’ Film Delivered A Very Cool Story With Great Action & Drama
Sony released a new action/drama movie titled “The Tourist” into theaters last month. I got a chance to check it out,and it turned out to be way better than I thought it would be. It featured plenty of action and drama scenes, along with a spectacular twist. The movie stars: Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell, Timothy Dalton,and Steven Berkoff.
“The Tourist” film revolved around Frank (Johnny Depp) and Elise (Angelina Jolie). Frank is an American tourist that traveled to Italy to fix a broken heart. Elise is a pretty undercover secret agent who’s in love with a man named Alexander who has a lot of gangsters after him for stealing their money in excess of over $2 billion. The cops are also after him for tax money.
Alexander ends up telling Elise to find another man that sort of looks like him with the same height and build,and get everyone to believe it’s him. From there, Elise meets Frank on a train,but it’s no coincidence,and Frank,soon enough, realizes that, as he eventually starts getting shot at,and on the run from both cops and criminals.
Just when it looks like Frank’s met his end, Elise pops back up to save him and send him on his way with a bag full of cash. However, Frank doesn’t want to leave because he’s fallen in love with her. He decides to stick around to get into more trouble in her high action,dangerous life that leads to an intense ending with an awesome twist.
The film showed a great deal of action scenes,including: gun shootouts,chasing,boat chases,fighting,and ruthless killing. It was everything one would expect to see in an Jolie action flick. I thought the movie was awesome,and delivered a pretty interesting story,especially once it all played out,and Elise’s real identity was finally revealed.
Both Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp did a great job as usual in the film. The movie never had a dull moment. It was very high-paced. The two actors displayed some very cute dialogue scenes.
