“The Warrior’s Way” action/drama movie was recently released into movie theaters last month. I finally got a chance to sit down and watch it,and I thought it was pretty entertaining. It delivered some very good actions scenes with Dong-gun Jang, along with some high intense drama with Kate Bosworth. The film stars: Dong-gun Jang, Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush, Danny Huston, and Tony Cox.

“The Warrior’s Way” film revolved around character Yang (Jang) . He’s a highly trained warrior assassin that is forced to hide out in a small circus town to escape his evil past. Unfortunately, he comes to find out that this new life he’s found is not that much different from his old one.

Yang eventually meets character Lynne (Bosworth) who has been living in the town since she was a young girl. She eventually befriends Yang, and gets romantic with him at one point. The movie ends up revealing that Lynne has vicious past that almost left her dead, but she somehow survived. Yang teaches her how to fight throughout the movie.

The murdering man from Lynne’s past eventually rides back in town, and she’s dead set on getting revenge on him since he almost killed her and killed her family members. From this point, the action really picked up the pace. The movie ended up concluding with a huge battle between the Colonel man Lynne wanted revenge on and his army, along with a large group of assassins wearing black ninja suits who were trying to kill everyone in town.

The film delivered great action scenes that included Yang doing really quick fighting and slashing stuff, gun shootouts, big explosions,a nice fight scene with Lynne and the Colonel guy she was trying to get revenge on,and more. In my opinion the movie was extremely fun to watch, especially towards the end when the action got intense, and the story line was pretty good as well.

In my opinion, Kate Bosworth did a very good job playing the stubborn Lynne character, and Dong-gun Jang played the always cool, calm, and collective Yang character quite nicely. The movie earned a B grade from me.
