There are many ways in which you can enhance your happiness. Some of them are detailed upon below.

Your happiness springs from within yourself. No one can be the reason of your happiness. You are responsible for it. So focus on the good things in your life and ignore the rest. “Be happy,” Barney would also suggest.

Be the reason of someone’s smile. It is a proven fact that smiling reduces tension, enhances the working of the immune system, improve mood and makes a person look younger. Making someone smile will make you feel worthwhile.

Take walks. Walking reduces weight, controls blood sugar level, improves the functioning of the brain and reduces PMS symptoms.

Make vegetables and fruits part of your diet. Eating them reduces the likelihood of chronic diseases, certain cancers and strokes. They also reduce the calorie intake. Thus helps in controlling weight.

Spend your time reading. This improves your knowledge, distracts you from daily problems, enhances focus and increases your self esteem. Reading is awesome fun too.

Get in touch with your friends. Friends are the people that are always there for you. Sharing your problems with them will help reduce the stress and give you further insight into your problems. Talking to friends would definitely cheer you up, and help you do away with anger and frustration.

Try and spend time with someone more than seventy years of age or under 6. You have much to learn from the elderly and their wisdom. The honesty, simplicity and care free attitude of children offers great respite from stress.

Spend your times playing games. Games are awesome fun, and they also allow you an opportunity to sharpen your skills, improve vocabulary, enhance critical thinking ability and meet new people.

Last but by no means the least, enjoy your life. Live each day to the fullest and avail every opportunity that comes your way.
